The annual Marlo Nursery Farmers’ Day, which is in pursuit of recognising innovation and quality in growing vegetable seedlings, welcomed more than 600 guests this year. The Event, that was held on 11 April 2019, showcased competitive trials of over 600 new and existing popular vegetable cultivars from 11 of the most prominent vegetable seed companies in South Africa. It is currently the largest trial that is supported by all the major seed companies in the Country. All the trials were cultivated under similar managerial and climatic conditions.
