CREDITORS/DEBTORS CLERK

 

We have a vacancy available for a trustworthy and detail-oriented Debtors/Creditors Clerk to join our finance team. Our offices are located approximately 20km from Polokwane (on the Dendron Road). 

The ideal candidate must possess good communication and administrative skills and will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 Years proven experience as a Creditors/Debtors Clerk

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as Pastel or Sage

• Experience and knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel

• Bilingual (proficient in English and Afrikaans)

• Good organisational and time-management skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be self-disciplined and honest

• Own transport (the packhouse is 20km from Polokwane on the Dendron Road

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all the creditors and debtors functions efficiently

• Process invoices, credit notes, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner

• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy

• Communicate effectively with suppliers and clients

• Prepare financial reports for management review

• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing procedures

Working hours are Mon to Fri, 07:00 – 17:00.

The salary offered is market-related and based on experience.
