Marlo Farms is a 3rd generation family run, proudly South African farming community based in Limpopo, made up of four companies: Marlo Roses, Marlo Seedling Nursery, MW de Wet & Sons Farming and Elevato Chianina Farming.

 

With farms situated in Palmietfontien, Bochum (Senwabarwana), Waterpoort and Naboomspruit (Mookgopong), we specialise in harvesting fresh fruit and vegetables for markets, growing tobacco seedlings for farmers in surrounding areas and supplying beautiful cut roses to large distributors. Marlo Farms also breed with Chianina cattle, which originate from Italy and are known for their high-quality meat. As founders of the South African Chianina Interest group, we are working towards advancing the breed in Southern Africa.

 

At Marlo Farms we pride ourselves in leading the way toward new developments in the Agricultural industry. With the introduction of Marlo Apples, we harvest the first apples of the season, guaranteeing they are the freshest on the market. This four-range cultivar is truly South African – expertly developed, uniquely grown and carefully hand-picked by Marlo Farms. We regularly have ‘Farmer Days’ at our Palmietfontein farm where we showcase new varieties of seedlings to interested buyers.

 

We rely heavily on our staff, some who have been with us since 1985, to carefully handle the yield and to keep strict quality control over all areas to ensure only the best produce reaches your home.
